This is a present for my Sister who had always admired my own basket, It is beautiful it smells of hay and french air. It has soft leather handles which are firmly attached to the hand worked body of the basket. It is soft and pliable and will hold everything you could think of if you were taking this to the beach or all you lovely goodies for a (huge) picnic in the country (including 2 or 3 bottles of fizz as well as a softer option for the children) plus food and the essential waterproof blanket. I love the colour and if this is anything like my own basket which has seen much service will age with style. It arrived safely and speedily in a huge box a perfect transaction without problems. Go on join the revolution get a basket and save the earth and look chic at the same time . One thing if you have petit hands perhaps the longer shoulder straps would be an idea as the more you put into the basket the wider it gets, I have quite long fingers and I admit I do over load sometimes, and the handles get wider apart not to mention heavier so the shoulder straps would help with the weight.
