In France everyone in the supermarket or the market place has one of these lovely baskets, they are so very practical and also gorgeous! You can fit an enormous amount of shopping into one of these and the basket and handles are sturdy enough to take quite a weight. I don’t understand why we don’t all have them here as they are so practical and environmentally friendly. At every check-out I get comments about my lovely basket… I wouldn’t be surprised if they became the next big fashion accessory!
