The only difference vs our Sasha Tan Handle Basket Bag is that these handles are undyed, non oiled leather so a very light colour.
This basket is the natural version meaning that the leather is unfinished and therefore has not been dyed to a deeper tan colour. For this basket, over time the natural oils from your hands and general use will form a patina on the leather.
To speed up this process, you could very gently dab a light vegetable oil into the leather and leave to soak in. The Tan version is also available as a separate listing on our website.
Your basket should stand up when loaded evenly. It may not if there is nothing in it or with unequal loads.

NB: Hand woven plaits result in a step finish on the reverse side at the top of the basket, starting at the base in a similar fashion. This is the correct finish for this type of traditionally woven basket bag.
